Scales Moor has large areas of Limestone pavement, shakeholes and lots of large odd shaped boulders scattered all over the place, it is a very photogenic place in my opinion.

There are also good views towards Gragareth, to the left, Whernside, the highest, takes centre stage and Ingleborough to the right.
