I got up early and drove to Windermere to take some pics. I love this time of day as i have the place to myself and the light is how i want it. As i approached i soon discovered that the lake had disappeared under these cotton wool clouds and i was soon 'in the fog'! I knew I had to get up high to get one of those special pictures where you are above the clouds and the peaks stick up like islands! I walked to the nearest available height which was Orrest Head, it only took about 15 minutes, this is the view i got.
