This scene was near to the end of a very enjoyable walk to the peak known as Simon's Seat. As we walked through this wood it started to rain and we put our waterproofs on. I quite liked the path meandering through the dense forest and I took a few photos. I played about with this one on the pc and thought it looked good as a water colour painting.
