Winter Wonderland
It's about time we had a decent winter!
The centre of Bolton came to a standstill today as it received a very large blanket of snow overnight and continued to snow throughout the day. Most people stayed at home as buses and taxis were cancelled and most of the major stores closed their doors for the day. Although roads were gritted, snow fell upon them continuously making driving conditions difficult.
