Porth Llanlleiana

A gaunt derelict building and a chimney are the evocative remains of Anglesey's china clay industry. Porcelein pots and plates were made here in the nineteenth century, using white clay dug from nearby Dinas Gynfor quarry. The factory closed in 1920 after fire damaged the buildings.
